I'd not call it a major blow, more a wake-up call regarding not having agreements with other democratic parties when the undemocratic ones are prepared to work together to overturn the public's decision.
Surely Boris must call for a general election in the not to distant future,a majority of 1 ,that’s a ridiculous situation.
I’d have thought result killed off any chance of an election.
Had the Tories won, and won well , it might have happened.
As it is the Tories are down to a majority of one, and that is with the DUP onside. If the wretched Shinners would take their seats it would be really difficult for them.
I see James Cleverley has accused the LibDems of doing a “dirty deal” with PC and the Greens, which is a quite ridiculous comment. And indicates a party sadly fast losing touch with reality.
Don't blame it on Boris, blame it on May for allowing that disgraced Tory to stand again.
He'll ride it.
