The thing everyone on both sides seems to be losing sight of in the wild clamour to have their own way is that each and every person has a right, and in fact a duty, to do what they consider right for the country, and that includes Remainers. I still hold that leaving the EU will be catastrophic economically , socially and will lead to unprecendent ed hardship for...

//In practice, given MPs do not sit on most Fridays, they are only likely to lose between four and six sitting days in parliament, depending on which day parliament is prorogued on the second week of September.//

No Johnson protest from me and sooner we brexit the better. Merkel encouraged Syrians to abort their homeland in favour of EU, without members states consensus. Now Merkel is foisting migrants throughout EU states & paying non EU ie Turkey to keep them.

//You’re still a leave voter who can’t wait for us to leave the EU and hand over the reins to people who, on a daily basis, you criticise for being undemocratic! //
The only people I have criticised for being undemocratic are those MPs - many of whom represent constituencies which voted to leave - who refuse to accept the referendum result and are trying all manner of chicanery to prevent it being enacted. Fortunately up to now their efforts have only managed to delay Brexit though I'm still not sure that they will fail in their final goal. But many of them will almost certainly be thrown out of Parliament (or stand down of their own volition) at the next time of asking so demonstrating that it is better for control to be in the hands of people you can throw out (however distasteful you find their shenanigans) than those you cannot.
