Maybe if most MP's are remainers, it's because they've egos the size of a planet, think they know best, and refuse to represent the views of their nation as they should. One doesn't have to think sovereignty is better than being ruled by an external unelected elite, that goes without saying, the issue is about democracy and what the majority has decided is...

ichkeria Sorry!!!!! I often get your avatars mixed up. I have to agree ichkeria.
Which leavers wanted to pussyfoot around with leaving, spath? And what exactly are you hoping to split up the middle?
Get our avatars mixed up? That’ll really upset khandro!!
Icktheria hasn't actually said anything yet... :-)
"Get our avatars mixed up? That’ll really upset khandro!!"

I know I know! Lets not tell him, ay? My mistake, where is that carpet when you nee it?
"Which leavers wanted to pussyfoot around with leaving, spath?"

The conservative government, and all those who didn't support May, and now Boris! Are you trying to tell me it's not been a disaster???
"Leavers", spath... "leavers".
Anyone genuine would have left by now. It has been a disaster- not unexpectedly- because we left so many Remainers in charge of it, who all saw it as trying to minimise actually leaving.
They re-interpreted what people wanted, because their own views are so much more important.
This is hard work...I'm off to the dentist to have some wisdom teeth put in!!
Well all I know is they're certainly more informed and aware of the consequences than the average joe, and considering the vote was soo tight, maybe we should give them the benefit of the doubt to say.. No our public are thick as ***.

If you don't know the average intelligence and attitude of the general public, then you obviously don't drive a lot.
I do drive a lot! But maybe have a different circle of friends.... :-)
Let's face it- if you are right and MPs are that intelligent, they would never have called a referendum in the first place.
But they have, the results are in... and they should have achieved at least a little by now.
Harken, do I yet again hear the sound of distant shafting? All these so called deals are but a rehash of a rejected policy.
It ought not to need restating yet again but, May's agreement was not for Brexit but for BRINO. Suggesting it may be May pussyfooting around, but rejecting it certainly wasn't. It is partly her agreeing to that, that gave the EU the nerve to stand firm on their other demands. Which is why no-deal must be a serious consideration.
