Statistics would not change my mind one bit. I am prejudiced against all Muslims and although I would never be openly rude to them will always feel uneasy around them. I am not apologising for how I feel, nor trying to convert anyone to my thought processes and neither am I condemning anyone who does not believe the same as me. This thread is not about psychology Pixie - where on earth did you get that from ?
I don't know if it has been discussed already, but it seems logical to me that radical Islamists are desperate to promote Islamophobia amongst the general population. The more Muslims have to face abuse and provocation from others, the easier it is to radicalise them.
