It's a mile or two away but know many who attend college and reside there, looks promising for a good escape so far from local reports.

We had a huge fire a couple of months back (arson!) and we lost our B&M stores and Pets at Home, the buildings have now been flattened. The animals from Pets at Home were rescued and the only casualty was the arsonist. I am not sure if he meant to die or he didn't move as fast as he should have.

These students were lucky that they got out alive.

As a fellow Notlobian, albeit in exile, I was very upset to see the pictures of Bradshawgate last night, it seems that everyone is safe and that the local people have turn up trumps for them.

Horrific. Just glad that everyone seems to have got out safely and fire did not spread further. Feel for them as so much of their work and belongings will have been destroyed but at least they are safe.

Gosh, we heard all the sirens last night. Said it must be something big going on, but didn’t know anything until seeing the pictures this morning.
Some of those poor kids now have nothing but the clothes they escaped in.
