You just never know when your time will come. We have recently spent a small fortune preparing for the worst by updating our Wills and putting LPAs in place for both us. Hopefully the LPAs won't ever be needed but it's too late to do them when they are.

I agree. I had just C&P the sad news from Metro and thought that it had to be the gobby Oliver who divulges private information at this time. Always enjoyed Gary Rhodes OBE. Can't stand Oliver.

The problem with people tweeting about somebody's death is that other relatives may not have been told. Especially so in this case as, according to BBC, Gary Rhodes has been living in Dubai for the past eight years.
