Mrs Thatcher’s Ministry of Defence's 1981 Defence White Paper proposed naval cuts including decommissioning HMS Endurance, which acted as a Falklands defence patrol vessel. No replacement was planned, so the island’s were sitting ducks.

The Argentine’s invaded on 2nd April 1982

HMS Endurance's withdrawal from Antarctic patrol without replacement was perceived in Britain as having encouraged the Argentine invasion. The subsequent Franks Report acknowledged it as a factor.

Yes, it may well be. However, I'm not a Islamic terrorist. So, where they are coming from, is relevant to me. I can if they are being made in my home town, or my home county or even my home country. Naomi - whether you like it or not some Muslims do turn their back on their faith.

Radicals, imo, are a different breed. Half of them don't know what they are really fighting for. Many of them mentally disturbed but living a 'normal' life under the banner of Islam. If Islam didn't exist they'd find another outlet for their murderous thoughts.
