Clegg, Cameron and May should hang their heads in shame for allowing on their watch so much poverty and homelessness particularly affecting children.
It is correctly described as a national scandal.
Under the Tories, being poor is a crime and punished with even more poverty.
Unless Boris is made of different stuff, how can he expect support from anybody with a social conscience?

I think there are record numbers because the policy is now tempered towards keeping families together rather than putting children in care. Even a few years ago a homeless family would have had their children removed from them.

Wonky thinking. You would vote Labour. Labour intend hitting business and oil companies with high taxes. The result of that will be that the increase is passed on to the consumer meaning potential job losses and higher prices for everything. The people least likely to be able to afford that are the poor. Where's the sense in voting Labour?
