Major would never have become PM were it not for Howe and Heseltine. In 1990 Maggie topped the poll but under the arcane rules at the time was 4 votes short of total victory. She was persuaded by rats like Clarke that she would lose the next ballot. She should have fought on and no doubt triumphed.

she was one of our best PM's, this country was down the toilet and she managed with some help to get us out of the mess we were in, you should read something other than the Morning Star

Fact - Thatcher was responsible for creating huge divisions in our society.

I disliked her intensely , me coming from a mining community,however, she was one of the strongest PMs in history and would have shown those in the EU why she was called the Iron Lady ,
