// Israeli journalists and social media users on Monday decried the heroes’ welcome extended to a group of teenagers who were released by Cypriot police after a British tourist recanted her claim that she was gang raped by them.
In the arrivals hall, the teens, all wearing white yarmulkes, loudly celebrated their release by opening champagne bottles, chanting “Am Yisrael Chai” (the people of Israel lives) along with “the Brit is a ***.”
“So what we have here is a group of teenage boys, who it turns out are not rapists, just the type of boys who would engage in group sex with a drunk girl, film it without her permission and then send it around to their friends. // That'll be about the Arab proportion of the population then. Careful Gromit. ;o)//
scoring well today sweet one - they are the Israeli rabs
nd yup some politician is saying ( really ) they gonna outbreed the proper jews
when Israel was liberated by the jjews - not all the Arabs took to the road south to Gaza but stayed. They are now the Israeli arabs ( and do two years in the armed forces like the jews)
have citizehship - and are NOT palestinian - the Gazans were deprived of citizenship by means I dont know
the cypriots have convicted the girl over a witness crime ( making a false statement - the first one alleging rape)
and it must have been a rude surprise to her to withdraw her statement and get indicted herself
here the police would have shrugged and the girl gone free
Imagine it: "OK I wivdrawr it - can I go home now?"
no my dear - here is a barred cell for you !

Gotta say it 3T, using what appears to be a rape victim who appears to have been beaten in order to change her testimony to score political points, against a party who clearly have nothing to do with the event in question, is pretty low. It sounds like the kind of thing Gulliver would attempt.
And let's be fair, there are plenty of rods to beat Labour up with without tying them to this kind of thing.

Yes, especially considering that no attempt was made to determine whether the statement was false or not. As her lawyer said, "It's very worrying for a court to rely upon a retraction statement given after more than 7 hours in a police station without any legal representation, and without any interpretation, from somebody who was suffering from PTSD."
Since the men (very classily) posted the sex taking place on social media, there's no doubt that it happened. The only question is whether it was rape or consensual.
