"Mum clearly taught me a certain set of values which I will always try an uphold despite the roll and the job that that sometimes entails, but I think I will always protect my family and now I have a family to protect so everything that she went through and everything that happened to her is incredibly raw every single day and that's not me being paranoid it's me not wanting a repeat of the past and if anyone else knew what I knew, be it a father be it a husband be it anyone then you'd be doing exactly what I'm doing as well."
Well, this is interesting. The difference in newspaper reports of Kate and Meghan. It’s quite shocking really. https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/ellievhall/meghan-markle-kate-middleton-double-standards-royal
I wonder if Harry has a bit of PTSD left over from his army days on top of the issues from his mother's death etc. The lad seems to get odder by the day.
Which is why she behaved as she did after the separation. Her kids were not a priority, her love life was and she died in the fast lane where her life was. A 12 year old boy would not understand that. Zas for charitable works, its easy to put on a show for the media if we are rich and famous. People were/and still are so gullible when it came to Diana. She loved her celebrity status and courted the press.
Apc2604, oh yeah what inside info did you have? You're talkign as if she deserved what happened to her. Shameful if you ask me. Is your info much more high and mighty than the rest of ours?
As is the case with Meghan and Harry at the moment, your comment "its easy to put on a show for the media if we are rich and famous" is utter balderdash.Quit talking nonsense about Diana as if that's justification for Harry and Meghan to get this scrutiny.
Apc, so me having a different view on Diana to you, makes me 'gullible' in your eyes ?! Load of rubbish. I was a big fan of hers and was very sad when she died too young and needlessly. If Charles had never married her for a 'brood mare' she would still be alive today, or even if he had really loved her, she'd still be alive today. And if she did 'court the press' so what ?? Good for her, I say ...
I've not made a valuation on someones psychological state so there is no need for that comment Margo. I am not pretending to be qualified in a field im not.
And HereIam. This is not personal, but yes I think people were taken in by all the adoration about Diana as if she was some sort of saint. There was s lot of mass hysteria going on When she died. I didnt know her personally. I didnt hate her or love her. But she loved the limelight. I think Catherine in comparison is a great credit!
TD we all have our valuations and have the right to express them. You just don't appreciate anyone who disagrees with you on anything. Perhaps I am a qualifed analyst. It's not for you to know or enquire about.
There you go again Apc, I wasn't 'taken in', or am I not one of the 'people' you are talking about ? I don't agree with you, at all. Yes, there was an outpouring of grief when she died and again I say, so what ?? She deserved it. And how ridiculous to compare Catherine to Diana - two entirely different people and both lovely (in both looks and personality) in their own ways.
Whether you like them or not, approve or disapprove of their actions, whatever their reasons, they are just a young couple who want to make their own life with their son.
Let them off, no need for all the fuss and criticism.
Let the family sort out their own displeasure as most families do.
It's their life, their decision.
He is never going to be in line for the throne so he won't be too disappointed to be taken out of line.
The flowers and amount of people on the Mall were unbelievable. Even Queen was forced to lower Palace flag to half mast. Don't think Queen will have any problems putting Harry in his place, some of his "adventures" have not been best advised.
"You just don't appreciate anyone who disagrees with you on anything."
More boulderdash from speculation and hearsay. I suggest you stick to the topic at hand rather than discuss me.
"we all have our valuations and have the right to express them. "
Yeah, and it's fine to let everyone know that your valuation is from sheer speculation and that you don't have a qualification to back up your thoughts. To say your thoughts as if they are facts though, yes anyone can have objection to that.
Here you go again HereIam. My comparison is valid - Catherine has never courted the press. It's not about looks or about personality. It's about wisdom and sensible behaviour in a public position.
