Yes I am sure that all those possibilities are in the plans. It would be irresponsible to rule out any of them. Yes some of them may need to be used. Video link consultations are already in use. I am not sure how quarantining of the elderly can be enforced unless we will all have to carry our birth certificates around. Such scaremongering, reporting what might need to happen as what will happen is stupid and irresponsible in the extreme.
the official government site also says the old and vulnerable will be told to self isolate whether they're sick or not, though it doesn't go on to talk about arresting suspected sufferers. It doesn't specify the period this will require, but I would have thought a month was the least it will take for the herd to acquire immunity.

So what are oldies meant to do if they're going to be told to stay inside for a month? Buying supplies now is rational behaviour. It's not just foods and loo rolls: how are they supposed to get medicines, for instance? They all need to be like Cloverjo's husband: marry a young person quickly.
