Once again the downside of mass communicatio n rears its ugly head. It gives Duffy the chance for a cathartic opportunity to tell of her ordeal, which I really hope is good for her. Personally, I doubt the wisdom of doing so, because it lays her open to exactly the sort of cynical responses posted on here - people looking to 'reason out' the 'flaws' in her story,...

Question: Why was this not reported to the Police, and if it was why was no-one brought to trial.
If I was being really cynical (heaven forbid) I would suggest this has all been brought to the surface to try and rekindle her career.

How is she helping others if this kidnapping rapist has not been pursued by the full force of the authorities?
