Mps Working At Home
Please tell me this isn't true - have just read that MPs will receive an extra £10,000 for working at home. Apologies if this has been posted before but this is the first time I have read it. My question is why?

Seems generous- mrs FF is enjoying it and has no intention of claiming the £6 a week expenses allowance that HMRC allows since it's saving far more in travel time, smart work clothes, lunches etc

>Other workers if lucky will get 80% of their wages .
That's if they are not working at all while furloughed. Those I know seem quite happy to get 80% with no travel costs, work to plan, hassle
£10000 does seem high although of course it's for their team- most have assistants/researchers , will need extra phones/laptops/printers; maybe a desk. I'd have thought £1000 would be enough though. Most I know forced to work from home have had to buy own chairs, pay phone bills, use home broadband, own printer cartridges etc
