Syrian Refugees During Covid-19.
During the height of the Syrian refugee problem a lot of people such as Nicola Sturgeon,Bob Geldof,Yvette Balls-Cooper and her husband and Lily Allen all took some of these refugees into their many roomed mansions.During this corona-virus pandemic are all these refugees still with their hospitable friends?Just wondering.

Sorry for not replying immediately, I'm not online every waking second.
I don't know what you expect me to say. Given that we don't even know if they're even living with these people, I obviously haven't got the foggiest whether they're self isolating. Given that we have people licking food in Sainsbury's and having parties rather than self isolating, I don't see why you're getting upset about people who may not even exist, and if they do, you have zero clue as to how they're behaving using the pandemic.
Greater Manchester Police have just stated that they had to break up 660 separate parties last weekend. Rather than trying to further your anti-immigration retorhic, maybe that is something we should be discussing instead.

I’m really struggling to understand the ire aimed at footballists - it’s not a game I watch (rugby is the only true sport) - but these people are contracted to receive a certain amount of money.
I bet if anybody on this site was contracted the way footballers are to receive a certain amount of money and the people they contracted with broke the contract, they would be spitting feathers. They would be lying if they said they would not.
Frankly, it’s pathetic.
If footballers choose to relinquish their contractual entitlement, that’s entirely up to them, but to single them out is stupid.

Fair enough, it's hard do see who a post applies to sometimes.
As for an anti-immigration rhetoric (yeah, I know), it just seems like you're bringing up old news and using the pandemic to highlight a pet peeve. The point I was making in the last proper post, is that there are many other people (who we know exist) breaking the government guidelines who are much worried of our anger.

Agreed. And it seems like they have come up with a better idea now. The government don't lose their tax/NI from the drop in their wages, and the players chose themselves where the money goes.
