Imagine if we spent all this time, effort and money to take the measures we have, just to blow it all away by lifting restrictions early.
I' rather spend a further 3 weeks - a month inside now... So that we can be free afterwards. If we all come out now then we'll have to do the whole process over again.
If we're gon do it, why not do it right.

I don't agree, even if we stayed in lockdown for another year those who came out at the end of it (because they hadn't topped themselves because of financial ruin or been battered by a household member driven to the edge) would still have to face a probable re-infection rate. It's not going to die off while we're stuck at home. I see the only answer as a decent vaccine and meanwhile I'd rather take my chances and get on with life.
Trying to keep away from the hysteria on AB covid posts folks.
I also have to agree with the devil as I am afraid this new graph emerges.

I ,too, would also like to 'get on with my life' but not at the expense of others and being responsible for initiating a second phase.
For those who compare this with the 'blitz spirit' I am beginning to think they are wrong, Too much selfishness starting to emerge and another 'diddlecakesquith' factor that can be mulled over is the casualty rate has exceeded that of the 'blitz'. the war lasted 6 years. We have only just began. :-(

A few more weeks and we'll have confirmed the absolute futility and nonsense that is association football possibly ending the odd linguistic stylings and excuse making skills of the retired kickster turned 'expert' and freeing the airwaves from their drivel for ever.
That's a price I'm willing to pay.
