TTT
Indulge me please. April ? Ta me old China. :-)
TTT- 1. I have never "denigrated" Britain and 2. We've never been "ruled" by the EU.
We will be extending our own personal lockdown for as long as it takes for us to feel comfortable, however long that might be.
I’d rather stay inside for however long it takes than go out, catch it, never see my family again and have an excrutiatingly dreadful death.
diddly that's not true, our parliament was not supreme when we were in the EUSSR, end of.
retro - April in Paris - arris - aristottle - bottle - bottle and glass - ***!
oh there we go with "end of" which usually means I am losing this one and I know it.
Same as Vagus.
it's an absolute woofgang what further is there? Our parliament was not supreme when we were in the EUSSR, fact.
Not entirely true. Parliament agreed to cede some of its supremacy, but retained the right to claim it back.

The problem with TTT's analysis, clearly, is that he's never been the sub in a BDSM session. The "real" control lies with the person who's being whipped, because it stops when they say it stops.
rubbish jim there was no right via parliament only within the EUSSR rules themselves. A50, was created and I assume they thought it would never be invoked.
There was chat about folk assuming elsewhere, yesterday I think.

Someone will remind us of the detail I'm sure.
The European Communities Act was the safeword. I'm not entirely sure what the legal standpoint would have been had it been unilaterally repealed, but it's important to note that without that legislation, EU Law would have had no effect in the UK.

In any case, the point remains: the UK *chose* to cede some supremacy, and, since that was a choice, it could choose to do the reverse. In practice, of course, it would not have because it would be selfish and stupid to pull out of any international agreement of such scope without properly consulting with the rest of the EU.
As a public service:

Mozz - when I asked TTT whether he picked his son up I didn't get an answer. So I assume he did."

only fools make assumptions...intelligent people make decisions based on facts and proof

TheWholeTruth, 16:09 Tues 28th April 2020 on the Isn't Boris Wonderful bloodbath.

Over to you me old china. :-)
Lockdown.....hmmm. Is this the lockdown that the despised and denigrated Dominic Cummings "forced" the slientists to recommend? Is this the lockdown that is being suggested that, for the vulnerable over 70 should be extended, ..... but for the Black and Asian kermoonities that have a supposedly high attrition count, not part of the plan?
