@09.01.Yes i know that,it didnt make them good people though.
Sorry, I'm with you now, Zacs. Didn't read it properly.
//But there’s an odd juxtaposition in saying a lockdown is unnecessary and Implying the lockdown was deliberately delayed.//

It all depends on which youtube conspiracy theory video is freshest in the mind at the time of writing.
No. I just thought Cummings was alright, on the face of things.
I think some Lefties would agree if they only listened to him.
As I read it he had symptoms of the virus so he took his children to stay with their grandparents while he self-isolated in a house nearby. I’m pondering what I would have done in his circumstances. Probably the same. Difficult one.
@09.17.You are easily pleased Spicey.Cummings reminds me of a certain character in the Labour Party called Seamus Milne, both of whom could be called verminio....ooops,ive used this term too much already today.....i will use the term odious instead.
I suppose one has to weigh up whether one is unwell enough to look after one’s children or unwell enough to drive 300 miles.
^ and whether sharing a car with2 children for several hours is likely to expose them to Covid which they could then pass on to grandparents
Indeed.

Where there's a will there's an inheritance.
Prof.Ferguson got sacked,FF.Will "Rat-face" suffer the same fate?
Ferguson resigned. He was part of the advisory team saying we should stay at home.
Not sure about Cummins. The leaking of the story now suggests there may be a plot to lose him
I'm not seeing any leak. Locals recognised him and seem to have told the papers. Downing St refused to comment but the police have done so.
Zacs/FF, but realistically if you had young children and were facing the distinct possibility of becoming seriously ill what would you do?
'the police have done so'
Yes, after your friends at the Guardian and Mirror rang them demanding action, the police told them to *** off and mind their own business. (more or less)
I'm not to bothered what he does providing he keeps off my patch, this relaxing of lockdown is destroying my retirement, either bring back full lockdown or all go back to work and school, everywhere I go now is packed. It was such a lot better when I could sneak out under cover.
Naomi, I would follow my own advice.
You’ve got to feel sorry for him so void of friends or people he can rely on and without the resources to seek out official help he had to drive to his parents for help life must be hard for him
Question Author
I'm crying on the inside.
Zacs, regardless of who he is, if you had small children and you were likely to become incapable of looking after them, how could you follow that advice?
