The Government has said Cummings was within the guidelines.

Guidelines are not rules.

If he's acted within the guidelines, then he's done nothing wrong.

I'm not an "apologist" for Cummings - but I do know the difference between rules and guidelines, so stating he should be sacked is, frankly, stupid.

Tell that to that Scottish medical advisor who got hounded into resigning for breaking lockdown guidelines, or the dozens of celebs etc who have bee n forced to apologise for similar.
