A statement from the joke that is avon and Somerset police.

Well what can you expect from a group that thinks that the county of Avon still exists. They should have been there stopping it, not reading/watching it on the news and then asking for footage.
The police have been deliberately pansified by the left. Doubt they're able to do anything.

Thats always puzzled me OG, Avon hasn't existed for years, its the city and county of Bristol.
great, a slave trader gets what he deserves. It's only a statue, nothing to what he did to real live people.
Been listening to talk radio. Are there any decent men or women left in this country?
It's been a procession of pig *** thick blacks who are demanding reparations, innit.
And weak pansy 'men' who want to give it to them.
Talk radio is giving out reparation?
How did the International Guild Of Florists get involved then?
No surprise jno has the same attitude to historical art as Isis.
Come on, you two. My *** sides are splitting.
If the media didn’t advertise the fact that these things were happening would there be fewer people going to them?
Betcha a pound to a pinch of, that if the statue in Parliament square of Nelson was vandalised, dragged to the ground and rolled into the Thames, plod would go ballistic. Would likely be dragging the "demonstrators" away for a bit of serious "interrogation.
Theres also the irony of some people standing in a mass gathering holding up signs saying "i can't breath" during a pandemic which affects the respiratory system.
I rather think the statue of Nelson is in Trafalgar Square.
"It's only a statue" speaks volumes for the attitude of destruction of our heritage. Presumably the same is thought of the Bamiyan Buddhas. Or indeed any vandalism. Indeed why make it illegal, we could just make it compulsory. Hold a "Destroy Your Local Area" event every June.
Yes Jackdaw, but if it was taken to Parliament Square then police action would be assured.

standard anti British OG, they purr with pleasure over this sort of thing
'Anti British'?

You're the clown advocating extreme institutional violence against citizens.
Put the bottle down man.
Bet you couldn't go to Africa pulling down their monuments and artifacts because they ate our ancestors.
//I rather think the statue of Nelson is in Trafalgar Square.//

Not that Nelson.
