I've read this over and over and I still can't figure out what JKR has done "wrong".

I don't really get the argument against unisex toilets/changing rooms. There are mixed gender toilets all over the place in Europe and there have been for years. As for changing rooms - public swimming pools, anyone?

I saw her tweet and thought it was unnecessary to make a point of denying the existence of trans women. There are people born with female bodies who identify as men and they menstruate. I'm not going to pretend I understand what that's like but it must feel pretty crap to constantly have people talking about you like your experience isn't valid or you don't exist.

I honestly feel that about everything that appears on Twitter.

I could be accused of condemning when I don't, and never have used the site, but it seems to cause so much grief, I wonder if it is really worth it.
