“...pointed to internal fury [at LBC]...”

I think that’s code for the more left wing than Marx James O’Brien throwing his toys out of his pram.
mozz, he wanted UK independence, he achieved it without ever entering parliament. Most politicians may go some way to implementing what they want to achieve, few ever actually achieve it. You and people like you are blinded by seats, elections and the like, he achieved his aim with none of those things. That's impressive.
But "the most successful politician ever"? You think?
name another that has implemented 100% of what they set out to achieve.
In terms of delivering in full what he promised, yes.
I have read many listener’s views on his resignation. Apparently he had the most ratings on LBC and a good amount switched over channels channels when James O’Brien’s show starts including me. Nick Ferrari also raised eyebrows when he addressed a question to a black female panellist on the Pledge. Globals immediately nailed their colours to the mast and put out grovelling statements supporting BLM. I believe Mr Farage, a man of principle, no longer wished to work or align himself with their views.
In a obvious fit of jealousy the arch marxist gob on a stick O’Brien said, ‘We now have our station back’ grrrr. LBC’s loss. I will find an alternative.
Well, I'm thinking of those who have had a greater impact on the country as a whole, rather than achieve their one and only goal.

Without Winston, you wouldn't just admire the German anthem, you'll be singing it. (Not a dig, I quite like it too, despite doing a Tony Hancock whenever I hear it)
I'm talking about achieving what he set out to do. Yes TGL and TGM were magnificent and had a huge effect but that's not what I was saying. I think even TGM himself said that all political careers end in failure, well NF's didn't, He is probably the only British politician to do that.
//I think even TGM himself said that all political careers end in failure\\

That was Enoch Powell, another great man.
yep fair enough JD
I don't think his political career is necessarily over yet, he loves the game too much.

How many times did he stand and fail to become an MP? 6? 7? You're right that he was successful in his plan to leave the EU, but he had plenty of little failures up to that point.
"name another that has implemented 100% of what they set out to achieve"

Did he set out to achieve no Brexit Party MPs in Parliament?
mozz, irrelevant, he managed his aim without becoming an MP that's the point.
I too suspect it was his obvious comparison between the two groups destroying property that annoyed the supporters of the wanton vandals here, and caused the split. If so, he would have been pushed by the encouragers of anarchy.
TCL no he set out to achieve UK independence, he did, MPs etc matter not to the overall aim. Sure no doubt he would have like to have MPs in the commons but in reality it proved unnecessary, his policy was implemented, end of.
He wanted to be an MP so much he tried and failed seven times. Didn't achieve that aim either.

A 100%? Nope
Black Fights White, coming to a street near you.
optional stepping stone to the main prize TCL.
So why did he quit then? It'd be good if people posted a link so we know what the question's about.
