Well, I'm fully behind you, Martin but I fear that you'll be knocking your head against a brick wall when it comes to getting certain people on here to understand what racism is really about.
I'll provide you with one example of how racism works in this country though:
Back in my teaching days, we had a sixth-form pupil who appeared to be the perfect candidate for almost any university. He was very mature for his age, articulate, socially well-adjusted, gifted, industrious, with excellent grades at GCSE and an excellent grades forecast for his A-levels too. He applied to loads of universities and got not a single offer. He then changed his name by deed poll from his original (and clearly Asian) name of 'Fraz Taj' to the 'British-white' sounding name of 'David Christopher Parkinson' and sent off
identical applications to all of the same universities. Every single one of them then made him an offer and he accepted a place at Oxford.
Some people might say "Yes, but that was over 30 years ago. We've moved on a lot since then". Regretaably though, it seems that nothing really changes:
