I was actually taken in by him! I feel ashamed to admit it, but ì I definitely wasn't the only one. I dont know why he gets any media coverage. Whapt he thinks has no more relevance than what Joe Bloggs thinks!
No I guess I didn't , I voted for his beliefs though as head of his party , his father was a Conservative as I recall so calling Labour ' New Labour' he and Mrs Blair concocted a money making business out of it, him by lying then opening our borders to everyone in Europe in 2004 ,she by defending illegal entries in court , nice work If you can get it, oh then after office , hiring himself out as an Middle East peace envoy ,
"...which portrays him as a Biblical prophet!"
Does it? On those very rare occasions (think Preston Guild) when I think of biblical prophets, the image I have in mind is of a wizened old man with a long straggly beard, holding a gnarled, long staff, made, perhaps from chestnut. And that's what I expected to see when I read the OP; Tony Blair, stood on a mountainside (a la Charlton Heston) doing this proclaiming. Tad disappointed that's not the case :-(
The problem is, the further away from the UK people like Blair go, the more they are lauded as someone of importance with relevant things to say for a seriously large fee.
It’s quite easy to look like one of the Proclaimers: with the screwed up expression and glasses. If you can do the accent as well. As Frankie presumably could, then do much the better
More like David Icke, Ken. The second coming. Whoever compiled the picture must have a good sense of humour. Well done BBC, it shows what we all think of Blair.
