Just love the picture of Blair which portrays him as a Biblical prophet!

Ichkeria. I didn't vote for Boris, I voted conservative, and I couldnt possibly have any regrets for that. There was no other choice!

And why bring Boris into this thread. You just wanted to snipe.
“ You just wanted to snipe”

Oh stoppit! Not when I’m drinking my tea!

Maybe irony not your (strongpoint)
I wasn’t addressing any one person in particular btw

/So you voted for Tony Blair.
Like you once looked at porn Get over it.
In the same way you’ll get over voting for BJ one day :-)/

Please explain the irony.
"hiring himself out as an Middle East peace envoy " - yep that's a laugh, like having Gary Glitter in a kindergarten!
allen 10:42, the extreme right now are your LibFac buddies.
Wow, so many Blair voters on this thread. You must have been slow learners, he won three General Elections for Labour, and was there for over 10 years.
And now you all revile him.

Could it be that your adoration of the current Clown in number 10 will be reassessed in the future?
Like the unfortunate Jonah the Blair creature needs inserting into a whale.
Lol the irony is accusing someone of “sniping” on a thread such as this :-)
I suppose $31Million is enough to cause a mass breakout of envy from the people who lent him their vote.

How dare he have a profitable post PM career.
well gromit, 11:33, we'll fine out in 2029 when Bojo has been there for 10 years. Your beloved labour party will take at least that long to find their 4th General election winner.
TBH I don't begrudge Teflon Tony a profitable post PM career, I never voted for him anyway so I have no regrets like many that did. All past PMs have to some extent enjoyed a bit of a bonanza after office and why not, they don't get much whilst in office, perhaps we should look into that.
Gromit being taken in by a liar, chit happens, he single handedly put me off labour for good , so he did something right :0)
My concern, if I was a Tory, I think, would be that Boris Johnson - who really is a liar (I don't dislike him, but he is) will bring the same revenge on the Tories if the so called "once was red, now blue" 'wall' - goes sort of purple with rage, when the chlorinated chickens and the oven ready turkey that may or may not be the post-Brexit deal, come home to roost.
TTT,
Unlike you I never voted Labour during Blair’s reign.
I agree that Labour will be in opposition for at least 10 years, but I am doubtfully Boris will last the course.
Strange how politics changes tho.
I remember during the That cher years, the Labour party was "finished" - then 1997 happened, and guess what, the Tories were "finished"
It't not that long since the last EU elections, which was the "ned of the Tory party". meanwhile Labour were going to be in hock to Momentum, the McDonnells, and the Milnes and the Murrays and the Murphy for decades culminatiing in some sort of Soviet state if they ever got their way.
Now Starmer is quietly purging Labour of that, the Tories far from dying have an 80-seat majority and despite all the talk of a new politics, with multiple parties, we are back to two main parties again.
So it might be foolish to predict anything much.
gromit: "Unlike you I never voted Labour during Blair’s reign. " - never voted anything other than Tory Gromit, where did you get that idea? Why would I vote for Tory Lite when I could vote for the real thing?
More profit than prophet.
Now Jedward and his stone tablet was another thing...
I think what characterises this government and the PM in particular is shamelessness.
For proroguing parliament, expelling so many members, including the treatment of Julian Lewis, pointless and counterproductive boasting.
You can’t rule successfully forever by fooling people with a cheery grin.
A lot of it may be down to your friend DC
Sorry I have no idea how that post ended up there
The man should have appeared at Le Hague and then promptly stuck in a cell.
