The agreement between Israel and UAE was brokered by Trump's administration. Can you imagine the plaudits Obama would have got if he'd brokered it? The BBC would have gone into overdrive, but because it was Trump, it was hardly mentioned. It's a real achievement.
What did Obama do to get the prize? Precisely nothing.

Obama got the Peace Prize 2009, Bin Laden was killed 2011. So, unless someone had a crystal ball, the two events were unrelated.

Well, I remember being fairly appalled when Obama was nominated just a few weeks into his presidency (seemed then that it was a 'who you were/knew job') and of course he went on to bomb other countries. Not exactly peaceable. Trump has, at least, brought about a bloodless treaty and I believe it is not the only one, but my memory fails me. I await results with interest. I wouldn't be unhappy (given previous holders) if he was awarded it. The screams would be entertaining to hear.
