//It will be very bad that more African children will die this year, because our donations are less//
Lenny Henry thinks that it is a good idea that whites are not out there trawling for victims and playing saviour of the known universe ... so blame him. My donations could hardly get less anyway since the luvvies highjacked the cause as a showcase for themselves.

I watch Comic Relief because it's supposed to be funny. During the serious bits I then get persuaded into giving money. I think a white celeb is just as capable of levering the cash out of my pocket as a black one - and that's the point of the show, getting me to give money. Generally, if you are white and see a white person there, it's easier to picture yourself there, and you're more likely to give, or give more. Need I say I think they're making a mistake in not using white people to ask white people for money ... and the whole point of a celeb is that it's someone you "know" that's asking you.
