From the scant sources available it appears that he was arrested for breach of Covid regulations. As far as I am aware this is not an arrestable offence and is dealt with by way of a fixed penalty. There is a lot more to be uncovered.

All that this hounding of TR will achieve is to make him a martyr in the eyes of others. He is in danger of becoming Britain's Nelson Mandela.

The man who struck Hatun Tash in the face last week was arrested, I certainly cannot comment that any punishment he got or will get is sufficient for it was cowardly.

My earlier comment stands, people should think carefully about gathering in crowds just now.
