I have seen people write things on here over the last couple of days like "leader of the free world" "most powerful man in the world" and other such hyperbole. Do people really believe that America is the most prominent nation in the world any more? If they did, they surely can't anymore. The president himself has stated that their "democracy" isn't really a democracy, elections are rigged, their media lies. How are they any different to some backward dictatorship country? He states he wants to make America great again but in fact looking at his behaviour that doesn't seem true

If the count was stopped right now, Biden would be the new President. It's gonna go on for a while folks. But I suppose you could always stay with the BBC and "watch the results as they come in". What results?

There won’t be endless Supreme Court battles.
Apart from anything else, you can’t just “take things to the Supreme Court”. You have to go through the lower courts first and I cannot see how, other than maybe declaring the odd batch invalid, that they can uphold any. complaints. It is currently looking as though Biden may actually get to 316 college votes. Same as Trump last time. And Biden has just gone ahead in Georgia
