Maybe we should ban filming of corrie and dancing on ice and the one show as they could have accident's on the way to work or on the ice and we should make life even note misrable.
You can do that also if you want, I dislike all them!!
//No way do I agree with what these pair have done, at worst they could have been involved in an accident and needed hospital treatment.//

Except that by far and away the greatest number of A&E presentations are from people who have suffered accidents in their own homes. Going out for a drive kept them away from those multiple hazards and so made them less likely to need hospital treatment. Besides which, that’s what hospitals are there for.
"Dislike football? No, I dislike it controlling common sense, I dislike it being rammed down my neck on the news when we have more important things, I dislike it rolling across the bottom of the screen, after the death rate has rolled across the screen. "

You dislike it :-)
Fair enough, that is your right, but at least be honest about it.
I am not sure what sort of TV you have which has footballs rolling across it after the "death rate", but to be honest, I'd rather have a spot of football than constant death rates. it doesn't cheer me up to think there are people not as miserable as me :-)
It doesn't cheer me up to think that everyone has to be as miserable as me
Is what I meant .... :-)
So you can travel 50 miles for the vaccination, but not for a takeaway.
Well ones more essential than the other, but beside's its only in exceptional circumstances where you after travel 50 miles for a jab.
So eating is not esseential?
not eating a takeaway, you can eat other things.
Why do you insist on being so obtuse? You can buy food from a myriad of outlets, however, the vaccine is only offered at specific places. It’s as if some people don’t want this end because they’re too busy trying to circumvent the guidelines with their petty nit picking.
Just explain the difference between going to the corner shop, and getting in your car and going to a shop, surely if you are in a car the distance travelled would not matter.
Because some would drive 200 miles to visit a park or beach, stopping for drinks, toilets, petrol on the way, and if stopped on the way would say "oh we just drove out to buy some milk"
Rules need to be simple.
Stay at home unless its essential.
Separate trips out for every meal is not sensible in a pandemic.
Your just being obtuse
Sorry, just popping to the corner shop for a bag of leeks.
You could question all of the guidelines but they’re in place for a reason, just stick to them so we can all start doing what we like again. People need to stop being so selfish and ‘me, me, me’ about everything, practically stamping their feet because they can’t do x, z or y. Boo hoo, suck it up and stop looking for loop holes - I’m not vulnerable and neither is anyone I care about but we’ve followed the rules without whinging and whining to protect others, grow up.
You're losing it man,control yourself.
Did you see my link fcc
Yes,uninsured driver should never have been on the road.
unnecessary journey.
//So eating is not esseential?//

But once again a fundamental misunderstanding off the law is evident. It does not restrict you to buying "essential" goods. It restricts you to buying goods from those outlets which are allowed to remain open. Takeaways are allowed to remain open so you can buy whatever it is they sell. Tesco's are allowed to remain open. They sell Easter Eggs (essential?); they sell car polish (essential?); they sell wine gums (essential?). You can buy all of them. The word "essential" appears only four times in the Covid legislation - each mention is to describe "essential" education or voluntary services. Nowhere is it used to describe shopping.
