That Dave50, is exactly what they will demand happens. The rest of the Country stays locked down, furloughed, or wfh to ensure that the great unvaccinated or immune are not "putting them in danger". Good discussion on LBC last week. Lots of calls mainly from Afro/ Carribbeans explaining why. Combination of reasons given.
One reason is they know BAME are more likely to die of COVID and assume that the vaccinne is like injecting Covid.
Mostly tho the callers were all saying they didnt trust the goverment. One blamed Thatcher- she said she wont ever trust a Tory since Thatcher lied on the miners. Some thought it odd that the goverment suddenly pretends to care about BAME when it clearly doesnt and blamed stop n search and institutional racism.
Others thought the only reason the goverment wanted to vacc BAME was because it would save WHITE lives as so many carers and doctors.nurses are black but many old people are white so they werent going to fall for it.
Others said the briefings were just propoganda by white scientists and politicians. They said asians like Patel, Rishi, Van Tam didnt count as black they werent A/C and didnt understand afro carribbeans.
The more we try to encourage vaccinnes the more suspicious they are.

There is deep rooted distrust and theres a risk the more we try to encourage something there reluctant to do the more suspicious they'll be and the more determined not to play ball with a goverment and establishment they distrust so much.
My idea is that some of the covid briefings should be done by scientists and medics- maybe BAME, - even some community leaders, with no ministers there

there should be more awareness of this amongst the black and asian community, as you say they are more at risk, time for the leading lights in these communities to start leading the charge, ie getting out there and telling people its safe as can be.,and that better to maybe have a few days of discomfort than a possible lingering death from this virus.
