I would like to say that this is beyond belief but, unfortunately, it is a symptom of the hooliganism that pervades modern UK.

A sad reflection of our society in general.

I particularly agree with Sqad regarding the lack of respect. This is inter-weaved in how we show/present ourselves in public. Whether in plimsolls/flip-flops and trainers or in sturdy shoes and jacket-tie-trousers, the reaction is generally visible to any casual onlooker.
//the British have great difficulty in acknowledging success and all that goes with it.//

I would write it as: the British liberal left have great difficulty in acknowledging success and all that goes with it.

Agree with the rest of the post entirely. Sadly until we rewrite the HRA it will continue to be an enabler for liberal policies in Policing the judiciary and schools. Kids should have certain 'rights' but it should not over ride everyone else.

Bring back the stocks and the birch I say. Thrash the damned savages.

I have no idea who did it, or what age. I am just amazed that in this day and age, we still attempt public tributes, and assume nobody local will ever get drunk. Use some common sense.
A bit like the IRA supporting eejit up here in Scotland who celebrated Sir Toms death on Twitter.Question-If these scumbags hate their country so much, why dont they go live elsewhere.Answer-The dole money here is loads better than their favourite countries.
ynnafymmi, if it weren’t for people like Sir Tom, the IRA rat and the scums in Stoke on Trent wouldn’t be able to spill their bile !
They want to shock and offend. They deliberately entice your affronted response. They scorn your moral outrage because they have none. Sad, disenfranchised, and rather pathetic. Birch em.
The UK is getting to be a dangerous place to live in it seems these days, bit like the wild west
Not exactly Gunfight At Toms Plaque though.
I don't really need to write anything. So very sad and disturbing.
