The UK now has the highest Debt since WW2 and what's Boris's latest Idea?
He is going to have a new Royal Yatch built at a cost of £200 Million.
as a tribute to The Duke of Edinburgh.
Borrow the money , spend it , then get the taxpayer to pay it back.
That's how Boris thinks.

The Queen is a very private person - why would she blubb in front of millions, perhaps she shed tears for Diana in private. She was crying i think on the day of The Duke of Ediburgh's funeral - but wouldn't let it show, stoicism in the face of adversity.

i'll take a bet that the Queen has cried any number of times in her life, the deaths in her family have been a lot, first her father, then later her sister and mother, why wouldn't one cry.

I have respect for her, Bobbi, i served in her uniform and swore allegiance. But i don't hold her in complete awe the way some of you lot do on these pages. She is a human being, has human frailties and, just like the rest of us, has made mistakes during her long reign. In my most humble opinion, of course.

Has it not occurred to anyone that Boris (or whoever is the originator of this scheme) is trying to find ways to keep the shipbuilders employed rather than have the yards close down and the workers on the dole?
Surely that must appeal to our 'Labour' friends?
