When i was on Yahoo Answers they used an annoying spelling corrector that underlines some words which were the correct British spelling, and AnswerBank is also doing it. Anyone else irritated by this ?.
William if you go into your browser settings by clicking the the dots in the top right, and search for language, you can change the spell checker to UK English instead of US. If you let us know which browser it is, e.g. Chrome, Edge we can give more info if needed.
@emmie - did it work then? I unticked 'Check spelling when entering text' and went to a different question and it was still unticked, so it does seem to remember.
i would never have got that, by right clicking the mouse, it does indeed work, so ta for that, takes the hassle out of trying to remember to spell check everything.
William, it might be a good idea to put your question in Technology stating the make of your computer and which browser you use. If you're lucky Buenchico will see it and you'll get the answer and instructions on how to sort it.
