The media seem to be hell bent on pointing out the odd few here and there who get covid even after having the vaccine, well I say to the media stop the nonsense, you can get flu after a vaccine too., the chances are that either one will just result in you spending a week, or even two in bed eating paracetamol.
The scientists have worked their B*** off to make this vaccine, and are still working their B**** off to be ready to tweak future vaccines. The bottom line is we've been given a lifeline, the least people can do is take it and the future ones that come along.
We have to now open up, and stop pussy footing around. All has been done what can be done, and there's still a lot ongoing to beat it or reduce it.

The more it spreads, the better for everyone as it will have the effect of herd immunity. Add to that the vaccination programme and there is nothing to worry about. Stop panicking please folks! Bojo the Clown should remove all State Control on July 19th and should have done it on June 21st, like he said he would. But expect another back flip.
//What lockdown is that? seems pretty much back to normal around here.//
The thing is, dave, although people can get out and about, the remaining restrictions are causing huge problems for businesses, particularly in the hospitality and entertainment industries, with many venues unlikely to survive.
Meanwhile the government hypocritical, nonsensical and often plainly ridiculous restrictions continue. A few examples:
- Seventy or eighty people can gather in a large pub. But put a bride and groom in there and read out a wedding service and the numbers are restricted to 30.
- A crowd of 60,000 people are to be allowed to watch a football match, but I cannot invite more than four fully vaccinated people into my house for a drink.
- 2,500 "VIPs" are to be allowed to enter the UK without quarantine restrictions to watch that same match, and remain here for up to a week. Meanwhile I cannot spend a week in Spain (Covid infection rate about half that here) unless I undergo a rigorous testing palaver and quarantine for ten days when I return.
The people of this country are being taken for absolute fools and are being treated with utter contempt.

//Should he or should he not, lift All restrictions?.//
They should have been lifted last Monday. (In fact many of them should not have been imposed in the first place, but that's another argument). The alternative is to see endless extensions and further restrictions because the situation is unlikely to change much in the foreseeable future. The scenario is not to "lift the restrictions and see what happens." It is to lift them and deal with whatever happens.
