I’ve read the transcript but I’m not sure how anyone could be ‘forced’ to have sex at 17 yrs old unless they had a gun to her head, otherwise this would surely be rape wouldn’t it?
I’m no fan of PA, far from it but again just wondered how she was ‘forced’ to have sex with him and other prominent figures,and I’m not saying she’s to blame either but I would like to know

Just because people have respect for the Queen, it doesn't automatically follow that her children are entitled to the same respect. They each have to earn their own and Andrew has never had a lot simply because he's always been a prat.

It shows the Queen's blindspot, that now that Prince Philip has gone, Fergie is able to go to Balmoral with Andrew to stay.

Philip would not have her in any building he was occupying - but now Andrew gets his way.

I am sure you will agree that that was a specific instance where love for his granddaughters, and he ever-present sense of protocol and duty would override his personal animosity.

It is well known that at any time where he had a say over arrangements, and that would include private holidays such as Christmas at Windsor and the summer at Balmoral, Fergie was not permitted to be on site if he was there.

Andy, yes I do realise that, but I also wondered if perhaps PP was coming round to her more also. The only way we would have known for sure would have been if PP was still alive and Sarah was invited to Balmoral etc.

I think some of the posters here don't really understand the insidious, evil & powerful effect that grooming can have on impressionable individuals. To say that a 17 year old had sex with older men "of her own free will" is assuming a lot.

I haven't read all the responses, but I do know that the girl left home at an early age and was taken under the wing of Epstein and Maxwell who groomed her and trafficked her out to businessmen and famous men who mixed in their circles.
I expect Prince Andrew wasn't the only one she was told to be nice to and I expect she wasn't the only girl they groomed.
Just wonder why they are targeting P.Andrew . Would have thought she'd have made a start on smaller fish.

I also think Prince Andrew is an obnoxious toad and make such an eejit of himself at that interview with that lady Matliss (Sp) but not sticking up for him or anything but at that last post of saying Guiffre was 17 - I think there are quite a lot of girls at 17 extremely mature ie they have been around the block and do know what they are doing.

Giuffre may not have been trafficked, she may have been acting of her own free will, and she may now be looking to make a buck - in which case, isn't it a coincidence she ended up in the clutches of Epstein and Maxwell? On the other hand, she may have been trafficked, she may not have been acting of her own free will, and everything she's saying now could be true ...

The photo, combined with Epstein's involvement, makes me inclined to believe her.

She may not have even known their (real) names. Do you think the girls in Telford/Rochdale etc. could name all their abusers?

davebro, you cannot compare the two. I would have thought the people who Epstein introduced to any girls would not be described as being like the scrotes who lived in Rochdale.
I expect some of them were famous and rich, and some possibly known to the girls.
A completely different clientele.
