If so, how do you explain the fact that the photo that is now there, heavily referred to in the article, predates the Taliban invasion if Kabul exactly as Gromit said it did? If he didn't see a photo at the time, why would he say that he did and how could he be right about the fact that it was anachronistic?

I’ve no idea what gromit saw - but the picture he referred to wasn’t there when I and one or two others looked. If it had been there would have been no reason for me to ask what he was talking about. goodness, is this nonsense still going? Gromit called out the photo as an old one in 28 minutes, and Khandro condemned the story as fake news; both were correct. Everyone else can see the photo now, though I don't suppose they'll want to if it no longer bears out their prejudices.

You never read the article, you just looked at the pictures. If you'd read the article, you'd have seen the link to the picture, as I did.

As for Gromit, he obviously saw a different version of the article, a version that did have a photo. That's the version that I see now at the same link that Danny originally posted. Do you?

Gromit could not have been lying, as events have subsequently proven that the photo he was talking about exactly fitted the description he used. He saw the photo days ago, without clicking the link to the Fox News source.
