Getting into bed with the weird beards hasn't impressed Greta!

There's a great read called 1215 written by Danny Danziger, exploring UK society back at the time of Magna Carta. I can't remember precisely the number but the climate was 1.5C warmer than 2003 and red wine was being grown as far north as Ely and white wine into Scotland, crops etc far higher up hill slopes as well. In fact, the drinks of choice were wine and mead,...

judge: "The UK could, tomorrow, turn out all the lights and shut down its power generation, ground all its aircraft, prohibit any form of travel and stop all its cattle passing wind. It would not make any difference to the world's climate because the nations that are having the greatest influence on it have no intention, despite what they say, of cutting back their so-called pollution." - yep but Greta and the ER retards still pick on UK rather than them.

except that extreme weather is becoming more frequent and more ferocious over time... These are facts.
"The world needs to adapt to its changing climate instead of trying to fight those changes. "
False dichotomy... reducing emissions and switching to clean energy are examples of adaptation. Preventing something from getting worse is a good way of adapting to it... there is more to it than that but it is an important first step that every country will eventually need to make whether they like it or not.

//And when the hot air affects everyone will it be too late?//
If what we’re told is true, in my opinion it’s already too late. The world isn’t going to change its lifestyle drastically - it’s pie in the sky to believe - or even hope - it will, and therefore the best it can do is delay the inevitable.
In the meantime we can do something really positive in cleaning up the planet and giving our wildlife the chance it deserves of living for the time it has left without being killed by our disgustingly mindless disregard for its welfare.

You keep on reiterating this but it doesn't make it true. What nations will eventually need to do is to accept their limitations. They will eventually come round to understanding that they cannot control the climate - especially when there is no proper consensus among them. They may fiddle around at the edges (causing immeasurable economic and social harm in the meantime) but eventually the penny will drop. I just wish that would happen sooner rather than later.
There is no false dichotomy: trying to prevent the problem happening is not the same as adapting to it as it happens. Fire prevention and extinguishing a fire that has already taken hold are two different disciplines requiring two different approaches.

Our present modern lifestyle is not ecologically sustainable new judge... we will eventually be forced by circumstances to consume less and produce fewer greenhouse gases and it really is irrelevant whether that is popular, whether it is comfortable, or whether or not people believe the science... an unsustainable lifestyle by definition cannot be sustained permanently. It's a when, not an if. The earlier we change, the easier it will be... and we've already left it quite late.

We will have to agree to differ. The root cause of almost all environmental problems is over population. Eventually nature will gain the upper hand and the human population will thankfully begin to shrink because there will not be the resources and the facilities to sustain such ridiculously high numbers. That will be the "when, not if" that you mention and that's how this will progress. Instead of fannying about with windmills and light bulbs governments could help by introducing regimes that deter or prevent excessive population growth. But they prefer to ignore that problem (when did you last hear a politician mention excessive population growth?) and restrict the comfort and convenience of those who are already here.
Well, I shouldn't bother too much about whether it's natural or man-made, because some scientists think we've already begun the next mass exctinction. And we can't do anything about it.
