It seems that half the patients with covid admitted to London hospitals recently were not admitted because of covid.

It looks like Omicron is not leading to the severe illness feared.

I think Omicron may turn out to be a good thing, in a funny sort of way. The early signs of the end of the problem. Everyone gets it and develops resistance, but few get seriously ill or die
