To set the record straight, I was not with the Samaritans for 'a little while' - which you have invented.

I was there for three years - not 'a little while, by anyone's measurements - and I finished due to a change in family circumstances.

I was the last of my training group to finish, out of twenty-two, such is the demand and pressure it can bring on volunteers.

But rest assured, even though I would never claim to be a professional counsellor, i still have more experience than you will ever have, of talking to groomed, manipulated and abused women, so I do know of what i speak.

You should maybe think of giving something back to society, some action to go with your lofty opinions.

But don;t try the Samaritans, with your cold level of cynicism, you would not be welcome for one moment.

Sorry, I got called away and now there are too many answers for me to read so I would just like to put my point over as I see it.
I wasn't there so I'm just guessing like others are, but there is grooming and then there is grooming.
So there is Fred from say Rochdale who grooms young girls. They get some money and Fred gets some money and says if you go to the police, I'll kill your Mother/Father/ baby sister etc.
Then there is Epstein who offers a life of privileges if these young girls will entertain his high ranking friends.
He tells them if they say 'no' to the client/friend then they are out on their ear and they have to sign a document that says they will do what is asked of them and will not tell the police.
Then Epstein is caught and Ms Giuffre thinks well that life is over now so I'll see what I can get out of this financially.
If she wins the case against P. Andrew, I have no doubt she will go to another person she slept with to see what she can get out of him.

Slightly off-topic, perhaps. The same day the Ghislaine? verdict was announced, all the charges against Epstein's supposedly mia guards were dropped. Just a coincidence or can anyone think of a reason for it, legitimate or otherwise?
As for Andrew. Imo, he's an unpleasant character, a lot of people are. That's not illegal.
Old blokes using 17 year old girls, extremely unpleasant, not illegal. (odd jurisdictions notwithstanding)
NY have twisted their own laws to 'catch' PA, imo to take the heat/spotlight off their own political allies and funders. Call me a cynic, I am.
