No sympathy. Anyone both stupid and rich enough to gift £200k to an already rich polical party probably needed a little dose of reality.

Why were the Tories going to help the Donar to become chairman of the National Lottery Community Fund also.....sound a bit Dodgy.
Yuk, brekkie with Boris slobbering over the sausages!! No thanks.
Well you know what they say about a fool and his money.....

Corrected that for you Sharon ;-)
A fool and his money are easily parted.

£150K to eat with Johnson, Hunt ? The world had gone mad.
Well I smiled at this til I got to the bit about the magician's assistant. I laughed but Boris could perhaps have done with her over the last few weeks.
Then we got to the bit about her being the dark horse for position of leader.....Dave is still wine spluttering... :-)

19.09 Eh!
19.05. I think it was £150,000 to eat Johnson ?
"He says he also paid £150,000 for auction prizes he never received, including the breakfast with the prime minister, a Japanese meal with Jeremy Hunt and a “magical show” by former defence secretary ***Penny Mordaunt, who once worked as a magician’s assistant.***" [emphasis added]
How much did he pay for riding tandem with Boris on a zip wire ?
well, he has a point, if you take part in an auction and the seller doesn't produce the goods, you're right to take action. I wonder what it was about this chap that made them decide they would rip him off over and over rather than simply go through with the deal?
Larry for PM, he won't be interested in money. He is actually the best that Downing Street has to offer.
Ripping off just comes naturally, Jno.

Just the Con Party living up to their name.
maybe, gness, but I've never heard any other donors complain of being sent to Coventry like this. It isn't exactly behaviour designed to encourage other potential donors.
Ah, a lefty love in !
Perfect timing.
The right-wing writer of witty ripostes is having a lie-in this morning.

Their job seems safe enough though.
