Just what Boris needs...Argentina is making fresh claims on the Falklands and China is backing them.
But Liz Truss has warned them to keep away . The Falklands are ours says she and we will defend them .
Will this be Boris's saviour....He always wanted to follow Thatcher....

Perhaps the Argies should invade in inflatable dingies?
Before we know it, 30,000 would have landed.
Good idea Gromit, they would then need to be fed, housed and have free NHS.
Not to mention all the other benifits.
The Argies could have the Island free of charge, no warfare, all they would have to do is claim asylum.
Yabbut, there are no Frenchies down there to assist the Argies in leaving the mainland.
So that idea is scuttled I guess Mac.
Hmm, back to the drawing board ;-(
Use Plan B, 1ozzy, just have a flotilla of RNLI life-boats hanging around and they would eagerly assist and even encourage the Argies ashore.
So all the UK really needs is a Canook and a Colonial to sort their problems.
No sweat, bro!
Bring it on ;-)
:):)
Can Gulliver stoop any lower in is obsession with Boris?
Pathetic isn’t it, Danny.
Here is the link the the actual story

https://amp.theguardian.com/uk-news/2022/feb/07/truss-says-falklands-part-of-british-family-after-china-supports-argentinas-claim

I’d say there’s a lot less chance of Argentina trying to invade the Falklands than there is of China Taiwan but even so: Liz Truss is quite right.
The current Olympics seem to be a chance for Xi to woo unscrupulous regimes the world over.
While having the temerity to warm athletes with vague threats not to make political protests

Boris has tried to spin the Russia / Ukrain news to take your mind of his new job as.... Party Organiser ....But Putin told him to do one.............. (not a party)
So this new Falklands Talk could be just what he needs to distract the public.
Gulliver you’re stooping to an all time low even for you , carry on with your obsession of Boris,AB is becoming accustomed to it in News but give over sabre rattling about Thatcher and Johnson being on par to go to war, it’s not going to happen !
“ So this new Falklands Talk could be just what he needs to distract the public”

Unlikely in the extreme

08.23 I am not the one who is stooping low Bobbi ,there is no cause for me.
It's your hero Boris ,who you have let radicalise you into his way of thinking
..... who is "Stooping Low " as you call it...
Gulliver, for your education:-
//stoop so low ... To lower one's ethical standards (or perceived standards) by behaving in a malignant, self-centered, or despicable manner.//
Gulliver, for a start going back to Thatcher, I despised the woman and was Labour through and through , where I live that was the norm ,Tony the slimeball Blair put pay to that so I voted Lib-Dem with ‘call me Dave ‘ at the helm, now I have your idol Corbyn to thank for me supporting the Conservative party :0)
Gulliver- //there is no cause for me.//

No, it's an obsession, not a cause.
canary: ". . . . . and British troops will be needlessly killed. Just like Thatcher, and Blair. " - so you would have done nothing and effectively told the world to walk all over us? Right oh! more canary cobras.

Lol
Is that the dictionary definition of Boris ?

When IS Gray 2.0 report going to be published and the Met enquiry completed ?
Playing out on the course the other day, I found a golf-ball in the rough, marked with the Port Stanley, Falklands Golf Club logo.

Nothing to do with the OP, but more interesting than the tedium of having to put up with gulliver's constant, infantile, Boris-bashing
