Should We Be Careful Over Who We Allow To House Young Ukrainian Mothers And Children?
How are people vetted in order to be approved to house these people. I worry that some of the attractive young Ukrainian mothers with children I have seen pop up on the news, who are desperate could become targeted by men who might look to take advantage of them by offering them a home.

well thank god for that, we aren't
all the ones in Calais will testify ( have complained loudly and largely unheard) about that one
I was reflecting - as Afghanis fled liberation, 200 were blown up and killed
and in Przemyl hundreds of thousands piled onto trains which pulled out of station to Poland ( OK pulled in: P is IN Poland) - and no one got blown up (yet)
so THEY are behaving differently and so are we.
also the majority are educated, can get jobs here and pay taxes.....

//Those young men arriving on boats from France are not refugees, they are economic migrants trying to get here illegally, a world of difference from those families trying to get to escape war torn Ukraine.//
Quite so. But alas the latter take up the same amount of accommodation and need the same amount of support and public services as the former, regardless of their point of origin. The reason we have no facilities is that successive governments have seen fit to accommodate all the chancers that have arrived here illegally and seem to want to do nothing about the problem. As a result we're full up.
