Ukraine (Again)

How long can, or should, we stand aside while people are being slaughtered? Know all the reasons why we don't want to risk escalation, but if Putin opened extermination camps would that, at least, mean that we would do something?

I think if we did need to we should. But we almost certainly don’t need to. Ukraine has a huge army of well trained, brave and dedicated men and women. Give them the tools and they will get on and do the job

What is clear now is that the Russian regime has slowly become a bloated and corrupt neo-Nazi state whose leaders are determined to take it away from Western values.
As long as that situation persists, regardless of what happens in Ukraine, the world especially Europe is going to have to get used to a wholly different security alignment

I do wonder why we tend to let Russia know what we are doing and when. Putin just keeps his mouth shut.
Sometime this week I remember seeing a picture / story of some country sending tanks to the Ukrainians. The picture showed them being transported, or ready to transport by rail. Forget what country was sending them. But why not just get on with it without letting Putin know. Don't make any sense to me . Plus it won't take much working out where in Ukraine the rail line will be for a missile attack by Russia.

The problem is that if Putin is allowed to continue, there will be no Ukraine left. Mariupol is now simple rubble, nothing standing intact.
I have just seen that there are several thousand young men pouring into Ukraine by the hour as private soldiers coming from all around the world, given the weapons Putin can be stopped, but at a terrible price, I fear the maniac may want to release chemical (or God forbid) nuclear weapons.
