Probably because he has more important things to do than waste his time with the irrational vindictiveness that abounds - as is evidenced by this thread and others before it on the same topic.
Incidentally, fatti, speaking of honesty, who were you before your current reincarnation?

It seems the Prime Minister is implicated in other serious failings of government too and intervened when he claims he did not.

In the report is this damning section.
PM 'played role in NOWZAD decision'
The committee said it had no criticism of animal charity NOWZAD campaigning to get their animals and staff evacuated but "the same cannot be said for the government".
They said the staff were called forward at the last minute despite not meeting the prioritisation criteria "after a mysterious intervention from elsewhere in government".
"Multiple senior officials believed that the prime minister played a role in this decision," the report said.
"We have yet to be offered a plausible alternative explanation for how it came about."
So it seems that he intervened successfully for his own ends in that instance but was not so when it comes to the publication of the Gray report?

Naomi,
Waste his time on irrational vindictiveness?
That’s no way to describe the present media frenzy and public outrage at his diabolical and deceitful behaviour, along with the furtive meetings with Sue Gray.
It would appear that Ellipsis has indeed uncovered a fan girl.
My current incarnation?
I can only state that prior to my present state I was in my mothers womb.
Try not to let your paranoia and blind devotion cloud your outlook and judgement about the latest storm to harangue the Prime Minister, these are matters of grave concern, to the British public and Conservative back benchers alike.

too much Boris contact ( Boris adoration ) Naomi
Point of order: Fatti being Ratti previously is unconnected with dishonesty.
( Biblically - did anyone say - dead yesterday, live today, that's a bit dishonest you know!)
but ho hum this is AB on a Tuesday

Naomi,
Good for you, though I hope the blind devotion bit wears off soon or you’ll appear as foolish as some of the Conservative ministers and MPs currently being wheeled out to defend the indefensible.
I always admired Margaret Thatcher but apparently I’m a rabid Lefty. As I said previously, she would be spinning in her grave at the behaviour and antics of the current Prime Minister.

Lol, spinning as fast as me? I’m positively sloth-like in comparison to the Downing Street press machine at this moment in time.
What actually is your viewpoint on all that has beset the Prime Minister in the last 48 hours?
What’s your analysis of the Gray meeting, the ITV pictures and the report into the Foreign Office Afghanistan fiasco that was reported yesterday? Do tell.

Well, fatti, I've seen a picture of Boris raising a glass to a member of staff who was, I believe, leaving, which in my opinion, is fair enough because I think the whole thing - including the finger-pointing at Starmer - is not only infinitely puerile, it's completely irrational and a shameful waste of police time, of parliamentary time, of everyone else's time - not to mention the waste of valuable resources that should rightly be allocated to matters of importance. As for Afghanistan, as I understand it the evacuation wasn't carried out as expeditiously as some would have wished and there are calls for the head of the Foreign Office to resign. Frankly, despite all the turmoil of the past few years, in order to satisfy your spite, you and your cohorts here, with no thought for future direction, would, in my opinion, happily throw this country under a bus - and there's no sense in that either. That's my 'analysis'.
We’ve gone from ambushed with a piece of cake to gatecrashed by a half-bake.
