//Not heartbroken - just disappointed at the stupidity of his critics - although I suspect that if they get their wish the electorate will ultimately be rather more disappointed. Bet you for one will still be moaning. ;o)//
Suggest you direct your ire at them then, though it’s difficult because you deem any Tory critic of Johnson a traitor.
You’re in a rabbit hole and rapidly descending.

"Johnson told us he had an oven-ready deal to get it all done. Seems he didn’t actually have a proper recipe if events in Northern Ireland are anything to go by?"
Nothing to do with the oven ready deal, everything to do with the EU wanting to cause trouble; as has been mentioned umpteen times previously. The oven ready deal was refused by the EU, what was eventually settled for was inevitably far from perfect, but had the text included to ensure things could be changed later when the issues already clear to the UK had become apparent to all. What has to happen now is either a) the EU holds their collective hand up and admits it was all a joke and they'll implement something more responsible now, or b) the UK triggers article 16 to get them to discuss and/or takes unilateral action as legally provided for, to correct the situation back towards the previously rejected oven ready deal.

He did have an oven ready deal, the EU didnt want it.
It's what happens in negotiations.
Much as I want Johnson out I dont think he did a bad job with Brexit. Forst and he were left with a real problem after Treason and Oily Robbins left them. Where I do think Johnson has failed is that he ahs spectacularly not taken advantage of Brexit with his majority. (and yes I am aware there was Covid, but the country didnt need to stop for that - as now shown)
