Moreover opinion polls tend to show a narrow majority in favour of "No" to independence.
So I also don't really see the "self determination bit either. If there was a plain surge in support for independence then quite possbly.
That looked a possibility at one stage but no longer.
And when Boris Johnson departs I predict the "No" majority will rise :-)

I suggest the Scottish National Party changes its name to the 'Scottish Independence Party', because that is the only thing it is interested in trying to achieve. Its record in other spheres of governance of Scotland is abysmal, when will Scotland realise that ?
