ToraToraTora //Love gulliver's forlorn hopes, I wonder how long he'll sulk after the Tories win next time, PMSL!// Not as long as you and Naomi have over Johnson getting turfed out by his own parliamentary party.

Ah, the predictions of a man who, not long ago, was predicting with absolute certainty that Boris would be leading the Tories into the next GE.
there will never be another real Labour government, if they want to get in they have to become Tories, as demonstrated by St Tony.

//Yeah I remember the last Lib/Lab pact 1977, they were flushing the country down the toilet with their union buddies. Thankfully TGL turned it round shortly after. TBH I don't think the 11 Lib Non Dem seats are enough anyway.//

Does that include the one that they took from the Tories with a record-breaking margin?
You have to marvel at the folly of someone who proclaims doom for the other parties but won’t acknowledge the precarious position of his own after eye-watering turnarounds and losses in recent by-elections.
Same old blinkered views.
Now I know who my money is on for the next GE.

erm TTT knows that past performance is no predictor of the future (performance)
past performance here is: lying, screwing around, lying again, changing laws so that what was unlawful is now lawful, more lying. conversion ( using someone else money )
....so perhaps that is a boon
This is why I stopped going to the pub. The same folk churning out the same conversation over and over, drives normal people mad.
Only problem is the Labour Party is dividing yet again over Brexit - there's a campaign afoot to 'make' Sir Beer Warmer commit to re-entering Europe, an election promise that he has so far not kept, anything but and the left-wing hounds are after him, particularly from the likes of sadiq Khan and Michael Chessum, he who heads up the 'Labour Campaign for Free Movement' - looks like Labour will be once again torn asunder in front of the electorate and whoever is the Tory leader will drive the horse and carts through the breach in the dam.

Poor Gully, there in his continental gilded palace with his illusions to be shattered again - nothing wrong in fantasising though.

Indeed. I wonder how many other people who reside in foreign crimes fret so much over the future Prime Minister and government of the UK. I don't fret that much and I live here and have no intention of leaving!
The last time we had rampant inflation and recession, and strike after strike, the Government was booted out at the General Election.

You mean with the same attitude that you display, how you’ll pulverise Labour into the dust?
Forget all the crises, it’s all about beating the Opposition, nothing else matters.
The only ones doing the beating are the Tories, the PM candidates beating each other up or party members bashing their heads against the wall that Johnson is no longer the PM.
Meanwhile, the 5C Remainer and anti-monarchist aka Mrs Flip-Flop will emulate Thatcher and right the country of its ills?
PMSL, you live in a fantasy world, but it’s nothing we didn’t already know.

I would love to see a competent Labour government running the country, sadly can't see either happening.

12.07. The only Bouncing Truss will be doing is when she gets Bounced out of Govt along with her Tory Party.

I believe any government with a mere semblance of some form of competence could do a better job that what we’ve had for the last 2 and a half years.
Those fantasising about a whipping for Labour can’t actually point out by what achievements not merits by which the Tory government will achieve such a success, ignoring completely the failures, furores and falsehoods.
Poor, misguided fools.
*nor merits

Truss or Sunak will be a bigger disaster to the Tories than ..Johnson.
I find it odd that some on here seem to put Gully down for concerning himself to what happens within the UK living here or not. Don't AB posters concern themselves with what happens in other countries on a daily basis. Russia , Ukraine and many more for that matter. Most of the main world leaders have been talked about, have they not?
