^ Our forefathers also ensured we have a right to freedom of speech, Bobbi. And that includes criticising the government of the day, irrespective of whether or not we used our right to vote.

Drmorgans, You, like me and Fatticusinch, haven't a clue who this politician is so you can hardly claim their candidate selection is slipshod. I'd hazard an educated guess that the people who voted for the anonymous subject of this conversation don't have a clue who he is either. The 'Red Wall' put their 'x' next to the Conservative candidate not because they were voting for those people on any personal level but firstly because Jeremy Corbyn and his motley crew weren't an option for anyone with an iota of common sense, and secondly, Boris was offering what they wanted - and that's what they voted for. I have friends in the north - lifelong Labour voters - who I advised to hold their noses if necessary as they did it - and do it they did - and for those very reasons. It's an unsavoury truth for some here to accept but nevertheless it is the truth.

a very welcome declaration of ignorance, and rare if I might say so
so you can hardly claim their candidate selection is slipshod.
erm no complete non sequitur - you cd look at the process alone and not the product. And so - just picking the first candidate to register would be slipshod, and you wouldnt have to see who got the (first prize)

yeah the usual AB boolshot masquerading as the gosple troof
Now yes - did anyone notice that Liz Truss was trying to commit Tory suicide over pensions today?
I dont know what process he is using
but it ( the process) is certainly turning up trumps.....

//He's still doing it, isn't he? I understood that he's still in the House of Commons but as an Independent.//
Yes, just like Pincher.
Some are clearly pinning their hopes on the Blond Messiah(emphasis on the Mess) making a comeback but it’ll never happen, so they’ve gone from sleaze to shambles in quick-fashion.
