Things Are Getting Better.
The Tories could face wipe out in the 2024 G/E after disastrous new poll results, putting Labour far ahead. If this is played out at the G/E.
Labour would have such a commanding lead it would put the Tories out of power for generations.....Poll results from members of the public between sept 30th ...Oct 2nd, in the wake of the Chancellors mini budget.

Bar him, it was always going to end up being Continuity Johnson.
Thry chose instead to go for the most insipid and inept PM imaginable, she actually looks worried every time she’s in front of a half-decent journalist.

//Although a long-term Labour supporter, I don't think the current bunch would be any better.
Once again I have to say,"Where are the giants of yesteryear (on three sides)"//
Yet as I keep asking: in comparison to what, exactly?
As I posted on a thread yesterday:

//How is Liz Truss proving you wrong in your thinking that a Labour Govt would be just as incompetent as the current Tory government?//
As pointed out previously, when a Labour government has a PM who lies to the public and parliament, unlawfully prorogues said parliament, breaks his own laws, attempts to change the rules to cover a lobbying scandal, changes the ministerial code, lies about a predatory sex pest, sorts out contracts of worthless PPE for party donors(bypassing the regulations), sees 2 ethics advisers resign, then is replaced by a rabbit in the headlights who would be out of her depth in a saucer but has a chancellor who would need to take his socks off to count past 10 THEN I’ll grant you that you can make a comparison.
But as a non-Tory voter and in light of the last 3 years I would have expected you to be clamouring for new and trustworthy leadership, no?/
Anybody? Feel free to enlighten me?!
Genuine question. How will they be worse?

Agree Boris was a disaster, the most unsuitable person to ever to be in a position of great responsibility, because he was irresponsible . Regardless of whether the current lab gang would be worse , well if they get in at next election, I will have find out if I am too old to emigrate. Boris was the architect of his own downfall and now it looks like to Tory party are doing the same thing. I think they have “done a Milliband” by picking the wrong successor
